Women's Mental Health

_JPG.jpg)
Mental Health is important in all stages of life and can be particularly impacted for women during perinatal and perimenopausal stages. This therapy space is to provide hope to women facing these difficult life adjustments and managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, grief, and loss.
Whether you are facing fertility challenges, parenting struggles, partner struggles, or feeling the "sandwich" of caring for aging parents and growing kids - you deserve to find balance and a life that is rich and meaningful.
Areas of focus for women's mental health
01
Perinatal Mental Health
Are you having challenges with the idea of family planning? Are you concerned with how your mental health might impact becoming a parent? Pregnant, planning to be pregnant, not wanting to be pregnant... This stage doesn't just occur during a pregnancy - it can last much longer (does it even end?) and can start as early as a child dreaming of being a mom one day.
03
Do-it-all Woman
Are you finding yourself asking if you are a "good enough" mom/partner/daughter? If you're putting all your energy into showing up for others, when are you showing up for yourself? We can work together to find that time and space for you to thrive.
05
Adolescence and Identity development
Facing mental health challenges while also facing a changing and developing body is like climbing a mountain where the weather changes every 5 minutes! We can talk about your changing body, your changing mind, and how to lean into the person you want to be.
02
Grief and Loss
You may be grieving a child or pregnancy. Maybe you're grieving your past life or the life you've imagined. Perhaps a loss you've planned and prepared for is hitting harder than you thought. This is a safe space to process your emotions without judgment.
04
Perimenopausal Stage
What does it mean to age gracefully? Your parents are aging, your kids are growing up, and your body is changing (again). We can explore the challenges of the perimenopausal stage and the impact on your emotional wellness and stability.
06
Gender Expectations
Whether you are living inside or outside of a binary gender concept, you may face challenges relating to others, society, and yourself. We can talk about gender roles in your home, community, culture, and world. Together we will explore how your identity might be threatened by expectations or how those might threaten your mental health. In addition to being a safe space, I want to support you in being your authentic self and feeling seen.
